Application Process

1. Email Application
   • Send your CV and academic transcript to the PI (Hak Gu Kim) at hakgukim@cau.ac.kr.
2. Interview
   • Selected applicants will be invited for an online or in-person interview.
3. Graduate School Admission
   • Important: Applying to IRIS Lab is independent of the graduate school admission process.
   • Applicants must also apply to and be admitted to the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film (GSAIM) at Chung-Ang University.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• Programming skills in Python and PyTorch/JAX
• Background in linear algebra, probability & statistics, and optimization

Preferred:

• Experience in machine learning and computer vision
• English communication skills
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills
